Job Summary

Halevora runs on software we write ourselves. The internal tools and public products that creator teams open every single day, from operations dashboards to revenue tooling, are designed, shipped, and maintained in-house. You will own that stack end to end: TypeScript everywhere, React and Next.js in front, Node and Postgres behind. You ship fast, you watch it run, and you answer for what breaks.

Own the stack

Your Role

You take features from idea to production without hand-offs. One day that means a Postgres schema and a Node API, the next a Next.js interface a creator team will hammer within the hour. There is no ticket relay and no committee between you and the user. You decide, you build, you deploy, you own the result.

We are a small senior team working European core hours. Feedback is direct, cycles are short, and shipped work is the only currency. If you have spent years wishing someone would just let you build, this is that job.

Ideal Candidate

  • You have shipped production TypeScript for years, not tutorials.
  • React and Next.js are tools you know cold, not lines on a CV.
  • You can design a Postgres schema and defend every table in it.
  • You debug production incidents calmly and without a babysitter.
  • You use AI coding tools daily and know exactly where they lie to you.
  • You would rather ship a plain solution today than a clever one next month.
  • You take a hard code review without sulking and come back sharper.
  • You work European core hours and show up every day.

Requirements

Full-Stack Depth

One owner for the whole stack.

You are fluent across TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node, and Postgres. You move from a migration to an API route to a client component in one sitting, and the seams do not show. Specialists who need a partner for the other half of the stack will struggle here.

Production Ownership

You ship it, you run it.

Deploying is the start of your job, not the end. You watch logs, read metrics, and treat a production bug as yours until the whole class of bug is dead. Nobody here files a ticket and walks away.

Speed With Judgment

Fast, without wreckage.

We ship daily. You know the difference between a shortcut that buys a week and one that costs a quarter, and you make that call under pressure without asking permission for every trade.

Remote Communication

Plain words, written down.

You write clearly, update before anyone has to ask, and keep decisions in writing where the team can find them. Remote-first only works when nobody has to chase you.

What You'll Do

001Design and ship features across internal tools and public products that creator teams use every day.
002Join the daily standup at 10:30 CET and state what shipped, what is next, and what is blocked.
003Own services from schema to deploy: Postgres migrations, Node APIs, Next.js front ends.
004Kill production bugs the day they surface, then ship the fix that retires the whole class.
005Automate the manual work you find; every hour you hand back to the team counts on your scoreboard.
006Give and take direct code review, and keep the codebase plain enough that any senior can move in it.

You Shouldn't Apply If

  • You want a comfortable 9-to-5. This role rewards obsession, not attendance.
  • You plan to code around other projects on the side. This is full-time and then some.
  • You take criticism of your code personally. We review hard and often.
  • You need a finished spec before you start. Here you get a problem and an outcome.
